MotionClip! - Game Film Review, Statistical Analysis
and Video Scouting Software for Coaches of All Sports

Most of the MotionClip! video scouting software buttons and controls should be self-explanatory. The controls are divided into three groups:

• The Clip Controls determine how MotionClip! treats each clip. You can play, insert or delete individual clips from your list. You can also instruct MotionClip! to pause after each new clip is identified, so you can update the text associated with the clip before moving on to the next one.
  
  
   

• The Video Controls allow you to control the overall movie. Here you can play/pause, play at higher or slower speeds (.5x/2x), and jump Forward or Reverse in time. You can also repeatedly reverse playback direction to really focus on any portion of the play. Note that not all movie codecs support alternate speed playback.
   

• The Mark Beg/Mark End buttons identify the beginning and end of each play. The customizable Play Type and Results Buttons identify the type of play that was executed, as well as the outcome. Each of these buttons may be customized to fit your sport.

The User text window allows you to associate descriptive text with each play you identify. You can simply "double click" anywhere in the list of clips to instantly view, edit, or update that clip.

MotionClip! saves its "Instant Clip List" files in an Excel compatible format, so you can perform detailed filtering or sorting in Excel if you wish. With our PRO Edition you can do the sorting and filtering directly within MotionClip!

MotionClip! PRO can also produce movie files containing all of the plays within a given subset of clips. Using MotionClip! you can quickly and easily eliminate 100% of the "dead time" in your video files. Next page ->
